:I I'm not even joking.
Week or two back at camp, we had a conversation about tampons and everyone's first time using one. Well I was literately the only one who never used one. IDK why everyone was shocked...I just never used one before. I was just used to pads and i think pads are easier. They told me it wasn't that hard and they though pads where easier but tampons are much easier and easier to hide and carry. I told them no. I would never use one, I think it's weird...looking for your open area and stick it in their.
Well this week i went to go grab a pad and we are out, I told my mom and she told me
"use a tampon, we don't have money to buy things"/ i forgot we were broke at the moment... I was saving the pad for later and i had changed it and did all that good stuff and had gone to a friends house. When i asked if she had any when i needed to change she said no but i have tampons. No one had a flipping pad! just tampons, they laughed and joked with me. They told me to just try it. If it's too hard to go in, make myself wet by playing with myself. Okay
that's just fucking weird. They gave me the small ones so i went ahead and tried...i came out 5 seconds later and said fuck tampons, that shit hurts.

Exactly how I felt when I first used a tampon. I was scared shitless of them, but we had no pads. Of course, being scared shitless only made it worse, so I swore off the things.
But then we were out of pads again. And again. And again. And now I'm used to them and actually prefer them.
